So, I had to dedicate an article and some drawings to it! From Royan to Mortagne, I've shared my favorite spots with you.

- Meet at the market bar in the morning to stock up on seafood and fresh cheeses, and stop for a coffee or a pineau depending on the time of day.
- Go swimming at one of the many coves on the Côte de Beauté: Foncillon, Plage du Pigeonnier, or the large beaches of the coast.
- If you prefer the ocean, drive to the wild coast.
- Have lunch at Bob's in Saint Palais.
- Discover the architecture of 1950s houses, like the famous Boomerang House.
- In winter, dine at Rafales in Royan, and during the season, go to Lolo's to enjoy mussels with cognac!
- Have drinks at Le Garage in Pontaillac, at La Maison Blanche in Nauzan.
- For sports enthusiasts, there are summer beach volleyball tournaments; for musicians, the famous "Violons sur le sable" (violins on the sand); and antique hunters will find their happiness at Jarriault.

MESCHERS & TALMONT SUR GIRONDE
- Have lunch at La Crique
- Swim at one of the local beaches: Suzac, Plage des Vergnes...
- Visit the Matata caves.
- Go down to Talmont to visit the village and the church. Superb.

- Discover the oyster farming village and have lunch there, or go to the village of Chaillevette to have lunch at Q Salé.
- Go swimming at Gallon d'Or beach.
- Dine at La Table de la Cèpe in Ronces les Bains.

MORTAGNE SUR GIRONDE
