This is the best thing I've found to avoid burnout, so it will be the shortest article in history, but I had to share the tip with you. You know, when you feel like throwing your computer out the window, and yourself with it, when you can't sleep because of stress, when you cry for no reason, and when you struggle to get out of bed to go to work?! That was my state a few months ago, before I bought my tickets and went to MOROCCO for a weekend to chill out and live Zen.
The plan is simple: you fly to Agadir, a 3-hour flight, and there... you disconnect from social media, from your emails, and your brain.
Head to the SWELL HOUSE in Tamraght. And for 5 days, you enjoy the weather and being completely at peace with yourself. And it's cool.
Why?
1. Because the HOUSE is incredibly good, very clean, tastefully decorated, and the team is top-notch and available. You don't have to do anything. Just let yourself breathe.
2. Because they offer surf and yoga camps, and IT FEELS SO GOOD. You put on your wetsuit at 9 AM and don't come back until late afternoon. Goodbye phone, hello waves, getting tumbled, and laughs. Bonus: funny, young, and kind instructors. And all levels are welcome.
3. Because it's CHILL and WE NEED IT!
4. You meet people. It was my first time traveling alone, and I met some REALLY NICE people. And it really made me want to start solo travel again.
5. BECAUSE THE FOOD IS GOOD! In the evening, small homemade dishes, yummy Tagine, and a thousand-hole pancakes, yum yum.
There you go. So for now, it's my first trip to Morocco, and I'll go back because I didn't see much, it's true. We walked around Taghazout a bit, but not enough for me to tell you much, BUT it was SO cool.
This post was not at all sponsored, I just wanted to clarify ^^ but it did me so much good that I wanted to share it with you. Just in case you're about to lose it right now. Go on, book your ticket immediately.
Of course, you don't come back completely changed; this trip was coupled with the support of friends, appointments with a psychologist and a business consultant to help my brain switch off, but this trip really helped me breathe, and that's what I needed.
