I'm so proud to present the labels I created for Les Chais du Port de la Lune! Naturally, when it came to combining two of my favorite activities: savoring good wine and drawing, I was very inspired! So I present to you Gramophone and Sonotone, a red and a white to delight bon vivants!

When Laurent Bordes, grape-picker and winemaker at Les Chais du Port de la Lune, offered me the chance to create these two labels, I jumped for joy! Because drawing for others brings me so much pleasure, and even more so when it's for such wonderful projects!
Les Chais du Port de la Lune is Bordeaux's first urban winery, using grapes from organic vineyards or those converting to organic farming, with manual harvesting from selected plots.
What I find really cool about their approach, in addition to making natural wine, is that Laurent, every year, has his labels illustrated by a host of artists: painters, illustrators, cartoonists... on a common theme: music/sound. This results in a range of bottles that are not only good but also true little works of art.
And since I enjoyed lending a hand, we went to press the grapes and wax the bottles in his cellar!
I'm lucky to be able to work from anywhere; here at the Casa Gaïa counter, I was finalizing my Monsieur Sonotone.
My friend Cécile Simian, an architect whose specialty is colorful projects, helped me choose the Pantone colors for the labels!
End of the photo shoot and tasting!
